Soul Retrival

In Andean culture, this is known and practiced as “calling forth a person’s spirit.”

It is understood that our spirit is like a bunch of grapes, and that, at times, due to various emotional, physical, and spiritual wounds we experience, these stem from what we call a “loss of spirit.” According to this idea, when a person goes through traumatic situations—such as abuse, loss, accidents, or painful experiences—a part of their essence separates as a protective mechanism.

Although this process helps you cope with the pain in the moment, in the long run it can lead to feelings of emptiness, disconnection, depression, or a lack of purpose.
